School Based Health Center (SBHC)

The School-Based Health Center is offered here to keep students healthy and in school 

The School-Based Health Center works in conjunction with the care provided by your child’s pediatrician and is not intended to replace regular care by your child’s primary health care provider. 

∙ Available Services 

o The SBHC offers Mental and Behavioral Health Services. 

o The SBHC can provide therapy visits to help with life changes, stress, anxiety, bullying, grief, and psychiatric referrals.  

∙ All children enrolled in the SBHC program are eligible to receive services regardless of insurance status, but all insurance is billed at the time of each visit.  

o If you have a copay or deductible, please check with your insurance plan. 

o If you do not have insurance, please ask the SBHC staff to refer you to their  Access to Care team to assist you with insurance coverage options, including Husky (Medicaid).

o If you need a paper enrollment form, please stop by the school-based  health center 

o Please note: your enrollment form must be submitted online (or, if paper, turned in fully completed) before your child may receive services
