Student Life

At Northeast, our focus is on the development of the whole child. We believe excellence is achieved by nurturing our students with an engaging academic  environment, supportive and exceptional teachers, and an active parent community. We strive to create a caring and compassionate academic environment for all of our students. We provide differentiated learning experiences, customized to the individual needs of each student. This is manifested through enrichment for some students and intervention for others. 

We also provide a multitude of opportunities for our students to discover and cultivate a newfound passion, whether it be by inspiring a budding artist through our immersive arts program, developing tomorrow’s business leaders through Junior Achievement or awakening an appreciation for our environment through field trips to the Stamford Museum & Nature Center.

Finally, our parent community adds their own richness to the unique tapestry that is Northeast. Some consider this cohort to be one of Northeast’s biggest assets.  Our parents are an incredibly active and vocal group. They often step in, either via fundraising or with their time, to ensure that all our students are able to experience all that Northeast has to offer.

Through these experiences, our students graduate from Northeast with a keen appreciation of the diverse world around them and how they can be a productive part of it.
