“Northeast Elementary School empowers every student by providing an exemplary educational foundation that includes: critical and creative thinking, social-emotional learning, physical education, music, and the arts in a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.”
-- Northeast School Mission Statement
Dear Parents/Guardians of Northeast School Bus Riders,
Our #1 goal each day is to transport all student bus riders safely to and from school. In order to accomplish this goal, we need you and your child’s cooperation. Good student behavior while entering, riding, and leaving the bus contribute in many ways to safe transportation. Such conduct makes it possible for the driver to give full attention to the roadway and other drivers. In turn, your child is given the privilege to ride the bus.
As each child is a Northeast Star at school, each child is a Northeast Star on the bus. The school bus is an extension of the classroom. Students are expected to conduct themselves accordingly. Your child makes a difference by:
School: Staying safe
Bus: Sitting at all times with hands to self
Trying my best Talking in a whisper voice
Acting responsibly Acting responsibly
Respecting others Respecting others and their space
Your child’s cooperation on the bus in following all rules and procedures is paramount. Please discuss with your child appropriate bus behavior and the warrant of consequences when the safety rules are broken. Your child must abide by the bus safety rules. Disciplinary action will be taken if the rules are not followed.
We thank you for your cooperation. And again, our #1 goal is to transport all student bus riders safely to and from school.
